Chestnut picnics
Here’s a fuller version that still stays natural:
Join us later this fall for a picnic in one of our chestnut orchards during harvest season.
Chestnut Picnics are set within our orchards, giving guests a chance to enjoy the farm during one of the prettiest times of year. Depending on availability, you’ll be able to choose your picnic location and settle in among the chestnut trees for a relaxed fall evening.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, whether you’re planning a simple picnic, a cozy dinner, or just a few snacks to enjoy while you take in the orchard. It’s a quieter, more laid-back way to experience the farm after elderflower season has passed.
A bonfire add-on is also available, with the option to roast chestnuts over the fire — a fitting way to end a fall evening in the orchard.
I’d probably use “one of the prettiest times of year” here instead of “one of our favorite times of year” since it speaks more directly to guests.

Please exercise caution when crossing the bridge, and for your safety, please enjoy the creek from the bank.
Remember that you’ll be in the great outdoors and we’re unable to control the presence of mosquitos, gnats, bees, ticks, and the like. Please plan accordingly and BYOB (bring your own bug-spray).

You’ll be in a rural setting, so we encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather and surroundings. We suggest comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for walking on gravel roads and other wet or uneven surfaces (closed-toe shoes are best).
-
For safety reasons, smoking is strictly forbidden on our property.
-
Please avoid walking on the road in front of the nearby house for the privacy of family members living on our farm.
