If inclement weather is predicted, a determination will be made about proceeding with picnics. We’ll make the best decision possible with the comfort and safety of our guests in mind.
If we are forced to cancel picnics, guests may receive a refund or transfer their reservation to a different date, if available.
PLEASE NOTE: It is possible that we will delay the start time OR move picnics up to avoid inclement weather. We will be in touch with updates if this is the case.
We will not proceed with picnics if rain is likely, but refunds will not be given if an unexpected shower should pop up during your stay.
-
Picnics and private events are non-refundable when canceled by guests; however, a reservation may be transferred to other individuals. Your reservation may also be transferred to a different date, provided an opening is available.
If we’re forced to cancel picnics or events for any reason, guests will be offered a refund, or be allowed to transfer their reservation to another date, if available.

Between the parking area and the elderflower field, guests are advised to stay on the lane and exercise caution when crossing the bridge. For your safety, please remain in the field once you’re checked in and enjoy surrounding creeks from the bank.
Remember that you’ll be in the great outdoors and we’re unable to control the presence of mosquitos, gnats, bees, ticks, and the like. Please plan accordingly and BYOB (bring your own bug-spray).
-
You’ll be in a rural setting, so we encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather and surroundings. We suggest comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for walking on gravel roads and other wet or uneven surfaces (closed-toe shoes are best).
-
For safety reasons, smoking is strictly forbidden on our property.
-
Please avoid walking on the road in front of the nearby house for the privacy of family members living on our farm.
Please place all trash in the receptacles near the entrance.

Our goal is to provide the best experience possible so (depending on the flowering period) there's a chance that we will need to shift dates. If this occurs, we will reach out to you personally and offer different date options or reimbursement. We’re dealing with the uncertainty of nature, but we'll do everything we can to accommodate you!
